5.6/10

I had a mixed experience at the Hilton Minneapolis. The hotel's location is fantastic, near popular eateries and the Convention Center. However, my room left much to be desired, especially since I had reserved a king but ended up with a double. Service was generally good, but my room wasn't as clean as expected.

Rooms
6.0
I was disappointed with my room. I had requested a king bed but ended up in a double. The room felt neglected, with dried beer on the nightstands and a refrigerator that didn’t work.
Service

Most of the staff were friendly and attentive. I did appreciate how the front office manager stepped in to check us out quickly, which made a good impression.
Location

The location is excellent. I loved being close to the Convention Center and many nice restaurants. It was really convenient for my conference.
Dining

The dining options were quite good. I enjoyed my meals, particularly the breakfast buffet, which was well worth the price.

The hotel offers a range of facilities, though I didn’t use them all. Room service was available, which was nice.

7.2/10

My stay at Hilton Minneapolis had some highs and lows. The location was ideal for my conference and nearby events, and the staff seemed responsive to requests. However, I encountered significant cleanliness issues in my room and some service hiccups, which detracted from the overall experience. 🌆

Rooms
6.0
The King Room I stayed in was spacious and nicely laid out, yet I found the cleanliness lacking. The couch had hair and food remnants from a previous stay, which I shouldn't have had to request to be cleaned up. There was also a noticeable odor in the fridge.
Service
5.0
While some staff were friendly, the initial check-in experience was disappointing. I didn't receive important information about amenities and faced delays in getting basic items like water. Overall, they were responsive but not consistently helpful.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic, right in downtown Minneapolis with easy access to restaurants, the convention center, and other attractions. I particularly appreciated the skyway connection for navigating the chilly weather.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were somewhat limited and the breakfast I ordered was late and incomplete. It's a shame, as the hotel has potential for a great dining experience.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were decent; the pool area seemed nice, but the overall cleanliness issues should be addressed. Housekeeping should strive for better attention to detail.

5.0/10

I had mixed feelings about my stay at Hilton Minneapolis. While the location was perfect for my downtown plans, the check-in process was a nightmare and took over 45 minutes. On a positive note, my room was clean and the beds were comfy. Overall, I wouldn't rush back due to the frustrating service situation.

Rooms

The staff were not very helpful during check-in, which was a huge letdown, but some employees, like Anna, stood out for their friendliness.
Location

The hotel’s location is awesome, right in the heart of downtown, making it easy to get to restaurants and other places.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were pretty limited, especially late at night, and I heard complaints about the breakfast quality and staff attitude.

Facilities were standard, but some things like housekeeping could have used more attention.

6.0/10

I had a mixed experience at Hilton Minneapolis. While the interior was nice, I faced some issues at check-in, and the location is a bit out of the way from major attractions. The views from my room were great, but the cleanliness of the bathroom was a letdown. Overall, there are better Hilton options in downtown if you're looking for a consistent experience.

Rooms
6.0
My room on the 17th floor had a nice view, but the cleanliness could've been better, especially in the bathroom.
Service
6.0
The staff was friendly, but the check-in process was a hassle due to the system being down, leading to long waits.
Location
6.0
It's close to some shops and restaurants, but it's a bit far from major attractions like Target Center and U.S. Bank Stadium.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was decent but not included in the price, and the lounge was crowded with limited hot items.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offered good facilities like room service and a bar area, but they could benefit from better housekeeping.

I had a pleasant stay at the Hilton Minneapolis, thanks to the responsive staff and comfortable rooms. The hotel was well-insulated from outside noise, which made for restful nights. Unfortunately, my experience with the valet service was confusing and frustrating, which took away from an otherwise good visit.

Rooms
10.0
My room was comfortable and quiet, featuring a beautiful city view. The bed and pillows were particularly cozy, ensuring good sleep throughout my stay.
Service
10.0
The staff's attitude was fantastic, especially the receptionist Anna, who provided valuable advice on becoming a Hilton Honors member. They were always helpful and responsive when I needed assistance.
Location
8.0
The hotel's central location was a plus, with many great restaurants within walking distance. It made it easy to explore downtown Minneapolis without worrying about transportation.
Dining
7.0
I found the food at the hotel restaurant to be mediocre. While the breakfast options were varied and decent, it didn't stand out as really good. I would recommend trying nearby dining spots instead.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel has a number of facilities, including room service and valet parking, although my experience with the valet was not the best. I waited longer than expected to retrieve my car, which was a hassle.
